            Absolutely false. I've personally seen many people make it to TC with one year of prep. Even I started preparing for it around this time last year in 11th, and I got an INOI gold and went to TC this year (got 5th rank in TSTs T-T). unforgettablepl also started around the same time and got to team this year, and he was in 10th.

      Is it the last year of high-school or is there 12th grade too (I'm asking because it is different for some countries)

        Attempts can be taken in Grade 12, which is the last year of high school (in India)
