I lost all recent contests and my rating goes down the drain
dreaming of being bluecoder completely scattered,
it's extremely hard to continue practice
has anyone experience similar situation? and how did you overcome?

Stop caring about rating. Noone cares about it.Care about what topics you know and what is your max peak on each of them. If you can solve 2000 dp you would solve 1700. You can project this onto the rest of the topics.
Always keep mindset that you newbie even if you expert.Because there are people like Tourist who can always say:"Im so bad." proof
eh just leave it until you find it interesting again
how to increase iq ????????????????????

no lol i mean practice

focus on practicing problems that are challenging for you, but not too hard. as you gain more experience, your rating will go up. don't worry too much about rating
thanks!
!
Fun fact: I tanked from specialist to newbie, and then I went back up to specialist. So, you don't need to worry about some temporary rating loss.
Yea I have. I did end up getting expert and the nice blue name tag at 1655, but unfortunately the next 2 competitions I tank down to 1402.
First off, taking a break isn't a bad idea if you are burnt out. Take a 1 month break, and when you come back to it will feel fresh again. I took a small break to focus on finals and it felt very refreshing especially after a bad usaco season and a bad 2 contests.
Keep trying to improve yourself, do problems slightly above your ability, eventually you will find success.
You can collaborate with someone when practicing... this will keep you in track. PS:(though I am newbie, but if you want we can collab)
Frankly speaking, you had a flat contest and a bad contest, I'm more surprised that you didn't come here when you had roughly 10 contests of mediocre performances in late 2023.
Now in more seriousness, as others said here, you shouldn't see rating as your only goal, but more like something you will eventually end up achieving.
Learning new things and enjoying the experience are way more important things to strive for than just some numbers on a screen, because these will be the ones which will bring you actual benefits in real life too.
He did, he just deletes blogs after ranting about it and getting advice from people (and ignoring said advice).
